Be Active Live Better is a gym that helps busy women become fit and develop healthy lifestyle habits. We offer personal training sessions, fitness classes, and online programming to help you develop healthy habits that will make your body work for you rather than against you. We teach you how to use the power of your mind and body to reach your goals faster than ever before. It's easy to make fitness a lifestyle with our Accountability group, Coaching, or supportive community. We are the best option for new moms looking to get fit again after having children or simply improve their overall health. Our trained trainers will help to achieve your fitness goals in an enjoyable, supportive, and welcoming environment.

It lies in Southern Ontario, 51 kilometres (32 mi) south of Toronto across Lake Ontario, and is 19 kilometres (12 mi) inland from the international boundary with the United States along the Niagara River. It is the northern entrance of the Welland Canal.
I joined Michelle’s stroller fit class during my first maternity leave in 2019; and was so excited to see that she was able to host another round this season during my second maternity leave. The energy of her classes is so motivating and every week there is something new! From day one, Michelle makes everyone feel like they’ve been a part of her community for ages, and has an incredible way of making everyone feel welcome and empowered. She always offers modifications to exercises and encourages everyone to go at their own pace. 5 stars, 10/10 recommended!
Michelle is as real as they get! Her positive energy is something she brings to each work out. She is knowledgeable, encouraging and understanding! Her work outs are something I look forward to and the community she has created is empowering for all. Her programs are tailored in a way that accommodates all fitness levels and the access to ‘replay’ classes helps women and families stay balanced. Michelle is incredibly motivating and easy to connect with!
Michelle’s energy and personality has helped me be excited to work out again! Her workouts are fun and challenging! I started with the stroller fit class and now jumping into her online classes which have been great!! Highly recommend joining the BALB community if looking for great support and fun workouts!
No two BALB classes are the same and Michelle has the personality to make every class fun. She also has exercise modifications for any fitness level seamlessly blended into the classes. I love that I can do the classes anytime on replay. There are so many extras included beyond classes that make the online experience better than being there.
Love Michelle’s stroller fit class! She is great with the babies and the mommas. I’ve enjoyed the progression from week 1 to week 6 so far and feel like I get a bit stronger each class! It’s also such a fun atmosphere and would definitely recommend for any mom!
